  8. Mr.Shargordosky thinks the biggest challenges in our generation are crime challenges. My question to Mr.Shargordosky is how will getting an education and going to school prevent gangs, terrorism, and drugs? How will learning math, science, language arts, and social studies prevent these challenges?

  9. Mr. Noel thinks that kids should spend less time with electronics and less time watching television. Your pointing out this reason because it takes away time from studying and focusing on school work. My question is how should we convince the kids to focus on school work more then on electronics? What should we do?

He also thinks war will be a challenge, especially when it involves nuclear weapons. My question to Mr. Shargordosky is, what do you think we should do about these complicated and controversial issues, and how is school preparing us to deal with them?

  14. Ms. Kashem believes programs, such as, facebook, aim, and youtube, are distractions to our education. My question to Ms. Kashem is: “If children should spend their free time studying, when will they have any free time to express themselves? Wouldn’t that make the children just more rebellious?”

  17. Mr. Noel thinks that one of the challenges that our generation is facing today is too many electronics and TV. Mr. Noel says” Many children watch too much TV and it affects them in school and at home. I believe children of our generation should spend less time with their electronics and TV.” Here is my question for Mr. Noel TV is not bad. Without TV we couldn't do many things. For example we wouldn't be able to listen to the news. The TV can also teach people things it is not all bad. So TV can also help our generation improve on our education and many other things. Can’t it?

  19. Ms.Russell is trying to explain that our generation has to face many challenges. She is also trying to tell us that you need to stay in school to get a good job and not work at the drive through window at McDonalds. Ms. Russell is also trying to explain that climate is a big problem for our generation; some people just won’t be more efficient. For example, some people still drive the big rectangular vehicle called the “Hummer” and that is a huge problem. Also, Ms. Russell thinks the economy is a big issue as well. People are losing jobs all the time. That is what Ms. Russell is trying to explain.
The question I have for Ms. Russell is how “The summers are hotter and the winters are colder” is affecting the climate issue. I see the ice caps are melting which is a huge problem; however they are not melting in the winter if the winters are getting colder.

  20. Mr.Mahmud believes that some of the problems facing our nation are technology causing children to be overweight, our government, as Mr.Mahmud puts it, "being down", racism, and sexism. My question for Mr.Mahmud is about his statement of the government being down. How is the government "down"? I realize that the economy is down, but I do not believe the government is down.

  21. Ms.Perez believes that the key to our future is to have a great education. She also think that if try hard to become successful and I agree with her but how are you going to help the world. Im not sure if you can perused all the people of the world to stop littering. Also if we don't throw your garbage in the water were will we throw it out. Also one thing that pollutes the air are our factories. How are you going to stop all of this? What kind of plan will you make if you do stop all this?

  23. Ms Perez said We need a good education to succeed in this world and we have to listen to your guardians. it s impossible to convince every kid in America to do that. Im sad to say that there are kids that refuse to give obidience to ther parents. Also Lakes takes years to dry up even if all lakes dried up, scientist already invnted or are inventing (i dont know, I forgot) water purifcation plants which takes up salt water from the ocean and make it freash water. So, this is my question- Lets be real here, Is there a solution to disobedience for the future generations of America? We also have to remember not completely taking away te cildren's liberty and imagination.

  24. Ms.Kashem thinks that computer games and websites like Aim, Facebook and YouTube have children of our age attention more than studying. I kind of do not agree because these websites are not the only thing distracting children from their homework or studying. So my question to Ms.Kashem is what are you going to do about children not doing their homework and studying when there are several distractions around us every day?

  26. Mr. Islam said one of our challenge is to stop few countries like Iran, North Korea, Russia, Cuba, etc, making nuclear weapons and make them our allies. My question is do you really think we can make them our allies and how can we stop those countries from making nucliear weapons? Don't you think trying to stop them might start wars?

  27. Ms. Kashem thinks that our generation should stop going on distracting things like facebook, aim, and youtube that are preventing students from doing well in school and start studying more. She also said that students should stop wasting time on the internet socializing. My question for Ms. Kashem is why do you think students should stop socializing, when people socialize they discuss ideas; they create new understandings of many subjects. The most important people in the world socialize by talking about politics with fellow business man and woman. This is my question for Ms. Kashem.

  28. Ms. Swintelsky, you’re saying that it’s a challenge in our generation for all people to be equal and live together. However, doesn’t the United States constitution already give everyone equality? Even though America is such a diverse nation, there’s peace and you can tell because we haven’t had any civil wars since the last one. If everyone’s equal and living together now, then how can u call that a challenge?

  29. Mr. Noel thinks that we should spend less time using and watching electronics. He also says it gets people distracted from schoolwork and homework. My question is how should we do this? It’s not like tell a kid stop using electronics and they say okay, just like that, it’s not that easy. So how are we going to tell them stop?

  30. Mr. Noel said that our generations biggest challenge is electronics and television. I ask Mr. Noel that how do we stop kids from using television and electronics? Technology is growing everyday and scientists are making more and more electronics. Also, isn't there more problems our generation has to face like cutting down trees, global warming, terrorism, etc?

  32. Mr.Yousaf thinks that if our generation learns enough in math and science than the can help find cures for diseases. My question to him is: how are you going to get them to learn and focus and pay attention in class?

  33. Ms. Blau thinks that the biggest challenge of our current generation is global warming. She also claims that after some time, it will become our worst nightmare. I believe that what she said is necessarily true. I believe that crime and terrorism is a much bigger problem. Terrorism is today's problem. Global warming is tomorrow's. Hence I disagree with Ms. Blau.

  34. Mr. Mahmud says that a good education is key in ones future and without it you will not achieve your dreams. Also, a bright future can only come from being responsible for doing your homework, paying attention to the teacher, come prepared and stay in school. In addition, you should listen to adults and parents for advice in the future. My question for Mohammed is, do you think that the United States can function properly without a strong and stable government?

  35. Ms Blau said that the biggest problem for our generation is global warming, I completely disagree with her opinion. Sure, we already dirty the lanet enough and use alot of the resourses but there are other big problem. terrorism, starvation, and war are big problems, too. You cant just say any one problem is more serious than others because this will cause the government to split into different groups solving different causes. With a splited government the country will sertainly not run right and will collaspe
